Greece and Germany lash out at each other over the crise that Greeks suffer.
Please, check out the news about that. It is very funny. :):):)
At this point, I am on the side of Germany. I find them right. Because Germans are hardworking people. They work hard and are retired at the old age. On the other hand, Greeks are not as hardworking as Germans and they are retired at the young age. Therefore, it is very normal that Germans do not want your taxes to go for help to Greeks.
But in fact, even both countries are the same to me. Because they have been cooking the books for the years, but now they are blaming each other.
When the crisis goes away, I am pretty sure that they will become the best friend again as it was in the past;
In other words, they have been on the same wavelength all the time :):):):)

Dealing With Saying The Word of "Apology"
Once I had read that the recent studies show that many people in any community find saying "I opologize" difficult. I have a couple of words to say about this issue as well.
Every person has a personal history. So the answer to the question of why people find apologizing difficult is kept in people's personal history. Each of us knows that psychologists are interested in personal histories and what people have experienced from their birth to the present.
For some people, actions are more importan than words. In other words, they think that actions speak louder than words. You can say "I apologize" easily, and then you may go on with what you have done before without paying attention.
In conclusion, you can find saying "I apologize" so difficult or not, but in my opinion, how you are acting towards people means too much more than what you are saying.
Bye ;)

Zen master
I want to share a short story. Clearly, It is very meaningful, but I’m not going to talk about the message which it wants to forward to people. Okay, here is the story;
A little boy from a poor village used to walk a long distance from one village to another, selling baskets. Then one day the little boy was givin a bicycle. Few villagers went to a Zen master and said, “This is a wonderful thing to happen to a boy - a few children from this village will ever get a chance to own one bicycle.” The Zen master said, “Let’s wait and see.”
One month later a little boy fell off a bike and broke one leg. The injury was serious. The villagers went to the Zen master and said, “isn’t it a terrible thing the boy has broken one leg?”. The Zen master said, “Let’s wait and see”. Then, a few months later, a country went to war with a neighbouring country and the young men of the vilalge were called to join the army. However, one boy, now a young man, wasn’t allowed to join because of his injury. The villagers went to the Zen master and said, “isn’t it a wonderful thing he doesn’t have to go to war?”
“Let’s wait and see,” said the Zen master.
Let’s have a bit fun about this short story. I want to talk about that famous Zen master. According to the story, That Zen master must be a smart, calm, wise and intellectual person. I wrote “intellectual to describe him, but to be honest, I don’t think that he is ever so. Because whenever villagers come along with their problems, he says “let’s wait and see”, “wait and see”. No comment and another word comes form the Zen master, just wait and see. I am sure that villagers started gradually being angry with the Zen master. I can imagine of the villagers’ face. They might be thinking that “it does not need to be a Zen master to understand this. If you wait enough, you can see easily what will happen. It is clear. It is very clear.” I am afraid the villagers are going to kill that Zen master. :):):)

As a Turk, a short text about Pros and Cons of a vacation in your home country or vacation abroad
Travelling abroad is very useful in terms of seeing more beautiful places and meeting different cultures.
I prefer to go to my home town rather than go to abroad, because it is cheaper. You have an option to travel by bus. If you want to go to abroad, you have just one option. You can not use buses. Buses safer than planes. You do not need to know any language except for your mother tongue. :):):):)
You do not have a fear to be ripped off. :)
On the other hand, you do not have any chance to see more beautiful places than your home town. You also miss lots of opportunities to gain different experinces. Different experinces mean amazing adventures.
To sum up, a vacation in your home town country may be good in terms of your expenses and having safer traveling options, but it is clear that a vacation abroad gives a lot of opportunities in terms of seeing different places, meeting foreign people and cultures, and how a foreign country is.
bye ;)

Revolutionary Road

I don’t like the movies which has a tragical end. Revolutionary Road is one of these films I mentioned. These kind of films make me put down, feel so bad. Also I’m deeply moved by them.
In fact, I found it good and it’s also wonderful stroy. I loved the stroy of it. I liked April. At the beginning of the film, I also liked Frank, but He made me feel so disappointed. I don’t understand why he ignored the feelings of April, his wife. They fist made a plan of moving to Paris with their two kids. Then he changed his mind. I really don’t undestand why?? She was his wife. Why didn’t he keep his promise he had given his wife? How couldn’t he realize that he had ruined his wife’s feelings and life, of course? I don’t understand how he can’t know what a wife means to him.
“You are so bad man, Frank. I didn’t like you at all. I was hoping you to make the plan of moving to Paris to live come true. You had first made a decision with your wife, April, but then you ignored the decision.”
Now I feel myself so bad. I seem to hear that you say “Don’t be silly. This is just a film. April is a film character as well. April has passed away in the film, but Kate is alive.” You are right. I know all of them, but after all, whenever I watch a film with the ends like that, I start feeling myself so bad. So that’s why I don’t like this kind of films.
Whenever I tend to buy a emotional film, you know, that it is told about relotions between married couples or single couples, I firstly ask if it has a gloomy and tragical end. If so, I never get it. Before I bought the DVD of that film, I had no opinion about the film. The person who sold the film to me had told me that it was not a film like I had told, but now I can see that it was not so at all.
To sum up, I wish April wouldn’t have died at the end of the film. I’m happy that Kate is alive, but I feel so bad, because April’s feelings and emotions have been devastated. She had not deserved it.
I watched the scenes deleted and aslo interviews with Kate, Leonardo and Sam, of course. Sam Mendes, the director of the film. I’m so impressed by his a few words about the stroy of the film. He says “ …And I think that’s why it’s a universal story at the end of the day, is because it’s saying, you don’t have to accept the life you have if you’re not happy, there are ways of changing it. You just have to be brave”
I think Sam’s words are not the words in the text of a film. All of them are true and All comes from the scene of a real life.
See you ;)

My questions to Mr Verhagen
Mr Maxime Verhagen, the Netherlands Foreign Minister, said: “I am deeply disappointed that Turkey has not yet complied with the Ankara Protocol. Turkish ports have still not been opened to Cypriot ships, and Turkish airports remain closed to Cypriot aircraft”
I have a few questions to Mr Verhagen. One of them is why he did use a word like comply to tell his disappointed!! There is more appropriate words that comply such as accept or come to an agreement etc. In my opinion, “to come to an agreement on something” is a very proper word in terms of describing an agreement on a protocol. I really don’t understand why he chose a word like that. I don’t want to have prejudice about his words, but his statement is making me think.
The another question is that why the situations of Turkey ports have been closed to Cypriot ships and Turkish airports remain closed to Cyriot aircraft have made him feel disappointed. Why?? When The European Union discriminate against Turkey and also discriminate favor of Greek Cypriot, why don’t he feel disappointed. In the same speech, he says “We are strick and fair”. I really wonder if the fairness corresponds to his behaviour towards Turkey and the EU’s attitude towards Turkey.
He continues to give his speech: “This is the appropriate time to punish Turkey with additional sanctions, but this would be a miscalculation. Turkey is a steadfast partner in NATO, Afghanistan and Bosnia. We cannot afford to have Turkey turn its back on us and cultivate closer ties with countries like Iran or other radical forces,
My last question is that There is an end of his and the EU’s sanctions over Turkey. Do not the fairness in that he believes say that he should stop to have prejudice about Turkey??
In the case of other radical forces, he considers Turkey as a steadfast partner, but if it is a matter of an issue of The European Union, he considers Turkey as a privileged partner. Is this the fairness, Mr Verhagen??? You had called it like that “we are strict and fair”. I know you are strict, but you are not fair at all.
See you next time ;)

Swine Flu in Turkey
Until a very short time ago, in Turkey, there was a serious disagreement between the Prime Minister and the Health Minister over swine flu vaccination. When the PM was asked about whether he was going to be vaccinated or not, he was making a statement of that he was going not to be vaccinated. Yet, contrary to the PM’s statements, the Health Minister was persistently declaring that there were many people who have died from swine flu and it was being expected the deaths to increase and people have to be vaccinated.
People were getting more and more confused. Every day an explanation about the number of deaths was coming from the Ministry of Health, but we were not sure whether it was true or not. By the way, the Health Minister said that about two billion vaccine had been imported.
Personally, I don’t think that it’s true and I’m not sure why the Health Minister was making people get confused. To be honest, I have never thought to be vaccinated. A few doctors in Turkey had been interviewed and they had said that the normal flu virus was more dangerous than swine flu virus. This made me get confused. Because we could not see any people died from swine flu in our neighbourhood. We were just watching it from tv and a few Turk doctors had said that it was not dangerous and we can protect ourselves against swine flu by taking some precautions. You know, there is an economic crises outside and when swine flu came up, the vaccine of it was already ready. This had made me think. This was so interesting to me
Now, I’m reading the news from the newspaper and the internet. There are lots of the statements which doctors all over the world has revealed. According to these statements, swine flu is not dangerous at all.
I really don’t understand how the Health Minister cannot know this truth. He is a doctor. He is among many doctors all the time and a few doctors from his colleagues have made a statement about what swine flu is and it is also not dangerous.
Nowadays, you cannot see any news about swine flu on the media as if swine flu gets evaporated. I hope it is not condensed and it does not come down to the ground again :)
bye ;)
